Nova Labs Makers Head to the Fairfax Funky Flea

Nova Labs is excited to announce our participation in the Fairfax Funky Flea for the remainder of the 2026 season!

Thanks to a generous opportunity from the Fairfax Funky Flea team, Nova Labs will be sharing a booth at the market's University Drive location on the last Saturday of each month. The booth will serve two purposes: showcasing the incredible work of Nova Labs makers and helping introduce more people in the Fairfax community to everything Nova Labs has to offer.

Each month, a small group of makers from our community will have the opportunity to sell their handmade creations at the market. For many participants, this will be their first experience selling at a public market, making it a low-risk, supportive way to test products, meet customers, and gain valuable experience as creative entrepreneurs.

We are especially excited that no fewer than eleven makers from the Nova Labs community have already signed up to participate during the remainder of the season. Visitors can expect to find a wide variety of handmade goods, artwork, crafts, and unique creations produced by talented local makers.

Beyond supporting our makers, the Fairfax Funky Flea gives Nova Labs an opportunity to connect with residents, share information about our makerspace, and invite more people to discover the tools, classes, shops, and community that make Nova Labs such a special place.
