Closing of Capital Campaign

Dear Friends of Nova Labs,

We did it!

Thanks to this incredible community, our Capital Campaign has officially closed at $114,851, surpassing our $100,000 goal. This is a powerful reflection of what makes Nova Labs special: members who show up, contribute, and believe in what we’re building together.

Because of your generosity, we are now positioned to:

• Unlock the $15,000 matching grant from the Community Foundation of Northern Virginia (bringing  our total raise to $129,851!)

• Move forward with adding running water to the kitchen and studio

• Continue expanding the ceramics studio to meet growing demand

• Continue improvements to Events Bay and shared spaces

• Begin Phase I of bathroom upgrades
  

This effort was powered not just by donations, but by participation — members opting in, sharing the campaign, contributing auction items, and supporting one another along the way. Every action mattered and we are grateful!

While member donations were a huge contributor, we would also like to acknowledge a generous donation from Google that pushed us over our $100k goal.

In the coming weeks, we will:

• Finalize project timelines and sequencing

• Begin work on priority improvements

• Share updates as progress is made
