Based on updated guidance released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Fairfax County Health Department recommends that everyone, including individuals fully vaccinated against COVID-19, wear a mask in public indoor settings.

 

As the number of COVID-19 cases has continued to increase with the spread of the Delta variant, this recommendation is based on the Fairfax Health District moving from a moderate level of COVID-19 transmission to substantial transmission.

 

As of August 4, 2021, please wear a mask at all times while in Nova Labs except for a limited time while eating and/or drinking. This applies to everyone, whether vaccinated or not. We ask that our members use the space for making and operational functions only.

The Board will be continually re-evaluating and updating this guidance as conditions evolve. 

 

In addition:

1. All in-person open office hours are back!

2. All in-person shop classes are back!

3. Events are also now permitted.

4. Members may bring visitors as long as the visitor follows the current mask policy.
