Selling at Conventions, Artist Alleys, Markets, and Fairs
October 3rd, 7-9pm | Are you ready to sell your products in person? Selling at events is a fantastic way to engage with a new audience and get your creations into customers' hands. In this workshop, you’ll learn the ins and outs of running a table, from finding the right event for your work to making your first sale. This workshop is designed for adults (18+).
Design Business Cards and Marketing Materials to Match Your Brand
October 10th, 7-9pm | Looking to enhance your business cards and promotional materials but not sure where to start? Want to learn the basics of Canva? This hands-on workshop will guide you through the fundamental principles of design while using Canva to create standout promotional materials. Suitable for ages 16+. Note: Participants must create a Canva account before attending the workshop. Minors must have access to an account and parental permission to use the software prior to attending.
Showcasing Your Work Online
October 17th, 7-9pm | Learn how to create a simple and effective online presence to showcase your work, whether you're a maker, artist, or creative entrepreneur. This workshop will introduce you to Carrd.co, a quick and easy platform for building your online showcase. You’ll learn how to set up a site that highlights your work and prepares you for future opportunities. This session is perfect for those who don’t yet have an online presence or want a straightforward way to present their work. Suitable for ages 16+. Scaling Up Your Creative Business: Preparing Digital Artwork for Manufacturing
October 24th, 7-9pm | Are you a creative entrepreneur ready to scale up your business? This workshop is tailored for makers and digital artists who want to transform their digital designs into a variety of products, such as shirts, pins, mugs, stickers, tote bags, and more. Whether you’re crafting unique items by hand or creating digital artwork, you’ll learn how to work with manufacturers to bring your designs to life. You’ll learn how to work with manufacturers, from finding the right partners to communicating your needs and preparing your files for production. Take your creations to the next level and expand your reach with professionally manufactured products.
Smartphone Product Photography
November 7th, 7-9pm | You don’t need fancy equipment to take great product photos of your creations. In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to use lighting and composition to create engaging photos with your smartphone. The techniques you'll master can also enhance your skills with other cameras. This course is focused on photographing smaller items that can be placed on a table, making it perfect for makers and entrepreneurs who want to showcase their products online.
Social Media Advertising on Instagram

Meet the Instructor
Lee, owner of Lee Strawberry, LLC, is a northern VA based artist who has had multiple years experience running a creative business. They have used a diverse set of avenues - online content creation, selling at conventions, and working with clients, to find creativity and enjoyment both as an artist and entrepreneur.
