The “Spring is officially here” edition
March 18
- INCA: Get free publicity for your invention or product. Speaker Christine Daves was here and was inspirational! Keep an eye out for future INCA Meetups, this is an exciting new partnership for Nova Labs.
March 20
- Twilio developers users group, hosted by Sam Aparicio, is a new meetup, held monthly, run by Twilio users for Twilio users to exchange expertise and experience with Twilio products and spend time learning about building apps with cloud APIs. Look for the next Twilio event in Meetup or on the Nova Labs website calendar!
March 21
- CAD and 3D modeling help and instruction, hosted by Sam Winkelstein, is a new meetup, held weekly, to help the Nova Labs community become proficient with CAD, an essential digital tool for our physical tools. Come with a project idea and get 1-on-1 help. This is going to be a recurring event.
- Washington Woodworkers Guild comes to Nova Labs this week with guest speaker Roland Johnson to demonstrate the tuning of a bandsaw.

Every tool in its place – come to the roundup and help clean, organize, and make the workshops an amazing place to create!
March 24
- Spring Roundup! Our Steward of Stewards has created a day of cleaning for the woodshop, metalshop, blacksmith shop, Green Way, and laser cutter rooms!
- Boy Scout CPR is one rental of several planned with local Boy and Girl Scout troops to use our makerspace in support of youth STEM opportunities.
March 27
- ISC2 NOVA Chapter Tech Talk, a Locksport Event an opportunity for 2 hours’ ISC2 CPE, is hosting their 5th event at Nova Labs. It is held in collaboration with TOOOL NoVA.
