Bre Pettis of MakerBot gave him the nickname of “Johnny Appleseed” for all his traveling to and fostering of makerspaces. Nick has been involved in founding and helping many hackerspaces, ours included. Tonight he visited Nova Labs and added a celebrity buzz to the air. After the tours and the presentations and the socializing and the show-and-tell which accompany every Open House, we sat down to business.
Nick is lending his deep expertise to us yet again. His not-for-profit and accounting backgrounds have been useful many times to makerspaces seeking 501c3 status. He walked us thru the forms and provided us with amazing insight. With his guidance we’re sure to have an easier time of the process.
Nick continues to be on a mission to champion of the cause of making and hacking!
We’re glad and appreciative that he took the time to visit Nova Labs.
“Nick, stop by again anytime!” (And thank you!)
