Spacebot’s first steps

Spacebot made it’s first moves April 3. Ted attached mainboard (which is actually a piece of MDF board) to the chassis, connected the battery, and set it loose in the parking lot. It keeps up with walking speed and it seems capable of moving the extra payload we’re planning on. Although the current chassis may collapse under another ounce….

Sensors and other things are coming soon, metal frame coming in the next ~3 weeks.

When it grows up, it wants to be a Mars rover.
